Read the rule.

We use a name (
Nick, etc.) or a noun for a person
(
sister, etc.) +
’s for the possessive.
Fiona is Nick’s
wife. It’s my sister’s car.
TIP
’s can mean
is or
the possessive:
Anne’s my sister. (
’s = is);
Kevin is Nick’s son.
(
’s = possessive).
